ABENAKI CULTURE and HISTORY
The Museum's collection of western Abenaki artifacts reflects one
nation's heritage through craftwork, clothing, maps and historical interpretation. The museum sponsors school tours, lectures & other activities throughout
the year & is important in Abenaki cultural activities such as the Heritage Days PowWow. Exhibits include both
original artifacts as well as reproductions of historic artifacts, augmented by modern Abenaki craft arts.
The museum shows to all that the Abenaki have always been here. |
